Petronas Gas Berhad (PGB) said that there has been an accident at its facility near Gas Processing Plant 4 (GPP4) in Kertih, Terengganu.
The accident involved an employee of its contractor who succumbed to his injury while doing repair work at the plant.
PGB is extending all necessary assistance to the family members of the victim, the company said in i statement.
Currently, the company is working with the relevant authorities to establish the cause of the accident.
