H-Energy Gateway Private, a Hiranandani Group company, submitted a proposal to the Petroleum and Natural gas Regulatory Board to connect its 8 mtpa LNG import facility it is constructing at Jaigarh, to the nearby pipelines.

PNGRB received a proposal for the tie-in connectivity of the Jaigarh LNG terminal to the nearby existing gas pipelines, the Dahej Uran-Dabhol Panvel pipeline (DUDPL) and Dabhol Bangalore pipeline (DBPL). The board issued a statement calling for public consultation on the proposal that would last 30 days after the issuance of the notice.

The peak capacity of the terminal would be up to 10 mtpa, and the facility would comprise of a jetty based LNG unloading facility, LNG transfer pipelines and two 190,000 cbm LNG storage tanks.

Commissioning of the LNG terminal is planed for the second quarter of 2018 why H-Energy stated in its proposal that it is essential that the tie-in connectivity with the facility is established prior to the terminal start-up.
