Dalby Offshore’s Workboat Apprentices are enjoying their first week at sea.

After two weeks studying at Whitby Fishing school and gaining their ENG1 Medical Certificate, STCW and Banksman, Slinger & Crane courses so they can now work alongside the company’s experienced team on the Dalby Fleet.

Josh Goodwill 20 from Scarborough and Lewis Wright 18 from Whitby traveled down to Lowestoft to start work on the Dalby Swale and Dalby Wharfe, which are both working on the Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm.

The sea time will give the boys the practical experience they need running along side the theory taught at the Fishing School.
