The semi-submersible flotel of CIMC Raffles’ CR600 design will be able to accommodate 600 crewmembers.

Since 2010, CIMC Raffles has delivered a total of nine deepwater semi-submersible rigs. Two of these are 100% in-house designed semi-submersible heavy-lift and accommodation rigs that are currently operating in the Campos Basin of Brazil for Petrobras.

The rig builder, which today also delivered a new semi-submersible drilling rig , did not disclose financial details of the order.
