SeaBird Exploration has received a Letter of Award (LOA) to acquire up to 6,000 km of 2D seismic data in the Mediterranean area.
SeaBird did not disclose the name of the client, nor the exact location of the survey.
According to the company’s press release, the LOA is conditional upon permits and is estimated to start in H2 2015.
The survey will cover a minimum of 6,000 km and will have an estimated value of $6 million.
SeaBird is a global provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, and associated products and services to the oil and gas industry.
