Norway’s Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has been awarded a contract from BG Group worth approximately $27 million for 3D EM data acquisition in Uruguay.
“We are delighted to start working for BG in Uruguay on this survey. This contract provides us with a substantially improved backlog and we look forward to further developing our relationship with this customer,” says Roar Bekker , CEO of EMGS.
It is expected that the data acquisition will start around 15 December 2014 by the vessel EM Leader. The survey has expected duration of 3.5 months.
