MEO Australia informed that non-executive director, Michael Sweeney has tendered his resignation with immediate effect.
Sweeney has served as a non-executive director since 1st October 2008 and was a member of the Remuneration & Nomination and Audit & Risk Committees.
MEO Australia recently said that the merger with Neon Energy of Australia fell through and is expecting a takeover bid from Mosman Oil and Gas.
