Total gas sales volume by Tokyo Gas for the month of December 2014 came to about 1,370.093 million m3, up 7.5% compared to December 2013.
In the residential sector, volume totaled 326.81 million m3, down 1.8% from December 2013, while inn the business sector, volume totaled 197.88 million m3, down 5.2% from December 2013, due to less metering days compared to that in the same period last year.
In the industrial sector, volume totaled 617.401 million m3, up 17.0% from December 2013, due to the increased demand for power generation.
Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 228.001 million m3, up 11.1% from December 2013.
