Lithuania’s Litgas, part of Lietuvos Energija energy company group, said it has signed a natural gas supply contract with Estonia’s energy company Eesti Energia.
Litgas will start supplying gas in March and will help Eesti Energia to diversify its supply sources, the company informed in a statement.
This is the second contract Litgas signed to supply of natural gas to Estonia. The first one was signed with Reola Gaas from Alexela Group. Litgas is also in talks with other Estonian companies.
Litgas expects supplying up to 30 million cubic meters of natural gas in total, to Estonia in 2015.
