MEO Australia said that its Chief Executive Officer Peter Stickland, will be appointed to the Board and will assume the role of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer effective 30th January.
In December, 2014 Stickland succeeded Jürgen Hendrich as Chief Executive Officer, the company said in a statement.
Stickland has over 24 year’s global experience in oil and gas exploration. Peter was CEO of Tap Oil from 2008 until late 2010 during which time he oversaw the evolution of the company into a South East Asia/Australia focused E&P company. Prior to joining Tap Oil, Peter had a successful career with BHP Billiton including a range of technical and management roles. Peter is a member of the Board of Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association.
