Congressman Blake Farenthold launched the bipartisan Liquefied Natural Gas Export Caucus along with his colleague, Congressman Filemon Vela to help the development and timely exportation of LNG.
The caucus also hopes to encourage a rational regulatory environment that ensures the production and exportation of LNG; creating jobs, helping the economy and cleaning the environment, stands in Farenthold’s statement.
Farenthold said, “Considering the abundant supply in our backyard, there is no reason why we shouldn’t be capitalizing on its exportation to create good paying jobs in the oil patch and beyond. LNG exports will provide net economic benefits to the US, including the creation of thousands of American jobs.”
The LNG Export caucus is seeking to promote responsible development and timely exportation of Liquefied Natural Gas and encourage a regulatory environment that promotes the production and exportation of LNG.
