Drydocks World, the international service provider to the shipping, offshore, oil, gas and energy sectors currently has nine rigs in the Drydocks World-Dubai yard which is a new record for the shipyard.

Our continued improvements on the advanced state-of-the-art facilities provides on stop solutions to the projects. We ensure the integrity and safety of all personnel and projects, providing operational efficiency while mitigating all risks.

“Our services have evolved with the needs of the industry and our proven ability to accommodate 9 rigs demonstrates the extensive infrastructure and world-class capabilities of Drydocks World stressing that the Group’s strategy is clear and based on total development, innovation, technical and engineering creativity,” said His Excellency Khamis Juma Buamim Chairman of Drydocks World and Maritime World.

According to Drydocks World, it has expanded its operation by establishing a dedicated rig division to ensure focused attention on rig projects to meet with clients’ requirements.

With 9 rigs currently in the yard from different parts of the world and 4 are scheduled to arrive soon, Drydocks World has said it expects to have a very successful year with regards to rig projects in addition to other projects the yard is pursuing. Ship repair and rig repair revenue increased by 9% compared to 2013 and exceeded the targeted annual profit projected for 2014.
