Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies said that it received an initial order from private food distributor for its light-weight Q-CabLITE and Q-RailLITE compressed natural gas storage systems.
Brian Olson, CEO and President of Quantum , said that despite the recent changes in oil prices market segments have initiated a shift to natural gas.
Quantum’s Q-RailLITE and Q-CabLITE CNG fuel modules are integrated CNG fuel systems for heavy-duty truck applications. The Q-RailLITE product has been developed to be managed and installed on the traditional open rail-space. The Q-CabLITE product line is installed behind the cab allowing for a larger capacity of CNG.
