Argentina’s YPF booked at least five LNG cargoes for delivery between April and June.
According to traders, cargoes will be supplied by Shell, EDF Trading, Petrobras, BP and Excelerate.
Reuters reports that these purchases come as a result of YPF’s tender seeking 11 shipments that would cover the winter demands.
It is revealed that the prices had at least $1 per mmBtu premium over the NBP gas hub prices for April that traded at $6.74 per mmBtu.
The deliveries will be split between Argentina’s two import terminals.
