Sabella has completed the assembly process of its D10 tidal turbine.
The inauguration ceremony of the turbine took place today at the port of Brest, where the assembly process lasted for 3 months.
Sabella will unveil the completed D10 tidal turbine to the general public on Saturday, April 25.
The team from the company will be present to give information, and answer questions about the turbine.
The event will also include the exhibition on Brittany’s marine renewable energy.
Sabella plans to install D10 tidal turbine in June, at the Fromveur Passage, near the Ushant island. The 1 MW turbine will feed the electricity to the Ushant island’s grid.
