The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG) has appointed Gareth Lewis as the Group’s Director.
Gareth Lewis’ past positions include Project Director for Seagreen Wind Energy Limited for the Firth of Forth projects, and Project Director for Brims Tidal Array Ltd – a joint venture between SSE and Open Hydro for the Tidal array project in the Pentland Firth Orkney Islands.
His most recent role was representing SSE as Head of Offshore Development in the Forewind Consortium where he worked on a 2.4 GW Dogger Bank Creyke Beck A&B offshore wind farm project.
Gareth Lewis said: “I’m tremendously pleased to be joining RCG a as a director and co-regional head for EMEA. We have a very strong vision, and want to build a new kind of consulting company for the global renewables sector.”
RCG is a specialized services firm with offices in London and New York. It provides technical and legal services from strategy to execution for both mainstream and emerging renewable energy technologies with functional capabilities in strategy, development services, energy and environmental law, M&A, safety and risk, technology and implementation.
