BlueTec tidal platform houses a single T1 100 kW Tocardo tidal turbine.
The platform will serve as a demonstration targeted at remote locations worldwide such as islands in Indonesia, Philippines and the Pacific.
This will be the first floating tidal turbine to be connected to the Dutch grid.
