Siem Offshore has appointed Idar Hillersøy as new CEO of the company with effect from August 1, 2015.
Hillersøy has, since April 1, 2015, been responsible for the OSV segment of the company and will now also take over responsibility for Siem Offshore Industrial Investments.
The company says that Terje Sørensen will step down as CEO of Siem Offshore Inc. and leave the company after a transitional phase.
“The Board thanks Terje Sørensen for his hard work and sacrifice over many years in building and developing the company into what it is today,” the company has said in a press release.
In addition, Svein Erik Mykland will step down as Chief Operating Officer and take over responsibility for the follow up and development of Siem Offshore Contractors. The company said that a new Chief Operating Officer will be employed.
