Marine seismic data acquisition specialist Polarcus has received a Letter of Intent (“LOI”) from an undisclosed client for a 3D marine seismic project utilizing Polarcus’ RightBAND(TM) technique for broadband data acquisition.
The Dubai-based company said that the project, subject to the execution of a service contract, will begin in Q4 2015. The project is expected to run for approximately 85 days.
As with their announcement yesterday, when the company said it had won a similar contract starting in Q3 2015 , Polarcus did not disclose the project location citing commercial reasons.
