Odfjell Drilling, a drilling, well service and engineering company based in Norway, has appointed Michael Boysen-Nielsen a head of Business Development.
According to the company, Boysen-Nielsen has a long track record in marketing and business development positions in Maersk Drilling and Ocean Rig.
“Michael Boysen-Nielsen has extensive knowledge and experience from the offshore drilling industry and will be a strong contributor to our strategy to develop Odfjell Drilling as an international provider of integrated drilling services,” says Simen Lieungh , Odfjell Drilling CEO.
Michael Boysen-Nielsen has 22 years’ experience from Maersk Drilling where he became responsible for marketing and business development of the company’s business segment for floating drilling units.
In 2012, he moved to Ocean Rig where he has worked as Group responsible for marketing and business development.
