Norwegian offshore shipowner, Atlantic Offshore has secured a contract for one of its vessels.
Namely, Atlantic Offshore on Monday said its Ocean West vessel has been hired by Talisman Sinopec Energy UK Limited, an oil company with assets in UK North Sea.
Under the contract, the Ocean West will serve as an Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel (ERRV).
The contract is set to start January 1, 2016. The firm part of the contract has been set for 9 months, with the oil company having an option to extend for two more years.
