Fluxys of Belgium informed that Pascal De Buck has been named as the company’s new managing director and chief executive officer, succeeding Walter Peeraer.
At the beginning of the year, De Buck replaced Peeraer as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Fluxys Belgium, the operator of the Zeebrugge LNG terminal, also becoming the deputy chief executive officer of Fluxys, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
De Buck will take up his new role on January 1, 2016.
Walter Peeraer will continue to attend Fluxys board of directors’ meetings in an advisory capacity until May 2016.
