Body of another oil worker who went missing after the Gunashli 10 platform explosion in Azerbaijan has been found.

According to the Azeri ministry for emergency situations, the dead body was found in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.

This brings a total number of recovered bodies to nine, with twenty-one workers still missing.

The fire that broke out on the Socar-operated Gunashli 10 platform in the Caspian Sea on December 4, 2015, is still burning.

To remind, the incident started when the storm damaged a gas pipeline, leading to the fire at the platform producing oil from the Gunashli field.

The Gunashli field is an offshore oil field in the Caspian Sea, located 120 kilometers east of Baku, Azerbaijan.
