GFS Corporation, the manufacturer of LNG conversion units, informed it has authorized Wajax Power Systems and Cullen Diesel Power as its distributors for Canada.
GFS said in a statement issued on Thursday, Wajax will distribute the LNG conversion systems for mine haul trucks in Eastern and Central Canada as well as Northern British Columbia while Cullen Diesel Power will service Southern British Columbia.
Teck Resources recently revealed the start of its pilot program to test the use of LNG as fuel for its Fording River steelmaking coal operation, noting GFS systems will be used in its mine haul trucks.
The support for the pilot project will be provided by Cullen Diesel Power.
