EDF’s unit, EDF Trading informed on Thursday it has named Sophie Ducoloner as a senior origination manager, LNG.
Ducoloner will join the company on February 29 from Gazprom Marketing and Trading where she has held a number of positions in its Singapore and London offices most recently, head of LNG origination Asia Pacific, according to EDF Trading’s statement.
The newly named senior origination manager, LNG will report to Philipp Büssenschütt, chief commercial officer, origination and business development.
EDF Trading’s naming of Sophie Ducoloner is part of the company’s restructuring of its global LNG trading and origination team due to a forthcoming retirement of Matthew Arnold, current global head of LNG and LPG.
The business is now jointly managed by Philipp Büssenschütt and Marcello Romano, head of European gas and flow, the company said.
