Eni has reportedly lifted the force majeure on natural gas supplies to the Nigeria liquefied natural gas export plant, declared due to a sabotage on a pipeline in December.

The force majeure was declared on December 16, a spokesperson told Reuters, which caused disruptions in loading schedules and exports.

The report notes that although the restriction was lifted, LNG exports from the facility have not yet been restored to the normal level.

The Bonny Island facility currently has six trains in operation with a total capacity of some 22 mtpa of LNG.

NLNG is a joint venture compromised of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC (49 percent), Shell (25.6 percent), Total (15 percent), and Eni (10.4 percent).
