Total gas sales volume by Japan’s Tokyo Gas for the month of December came to about 1,329.853 million cubic meters, down 2.9 percent from the same month in 2014.
In the residential sector, volume totaled 308.505 million cubic meters, down 5.6 percent from December 2014 while, in the business sector, volume totaled 187.053 million cubic meters, down 5.5 percent compared to December 2014, Tokyo Gas said in its monthly report.
In the industrial sector, volume totaled 614.153 million cubic meters, edging only 0.5 percent down from December 2014.
Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 220.142 million cubic meters, down 3.4 percent when compared to the same month in 2014.
