The Engineering Integrity Society (EIS) is organizing its 4th meeting on durability and fatigue advances in wind, wave and tidal energy industries.

The aim of the meeting is to highlight the recent advancements in fatigue and durability assessment for renewable energy structures in wind, wave and tidal industries.

The event will serve as a platform for the discussion on current technological developments in these areas.

The event speakers are drawn from companies in these sectors, as well as from experienced professionals and academic researchers working with emerging technologies in theoretical assessment of renewable structures.

It will feature presentantions from leading experts including ‘A Design for Reliability Methodology for Tidal Turbine Devices’ by Roy Browett, from Ricardo UK/ORE Cataput; ‘Tidal Foundation Selection’ by Rory Sinclair, from Ramboll; and ‘ Risk Based Approach to Demonstration of a Novel Wave Energy Convertor’ by Charles Taylor, from Quoceant, amongst others.

The event will take place on January 28, 2016, at BAWA, Bristol, UK.

The Engineering Integrity Society is a non-profit organisation committed to provide a forum for engineers to discuss present industrial needs, new technologies and to stimulate both company and personal development.
