Alam Maritim Resources’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Alam Maritim, has recently received a letter of award from Petronas for the provision of a workboat.
According to the company’s Bursa Malaysia filing on Monday, the contract value is approximately RM54.2 million ($13.1 million).
The contract is for a period of two years effective from February 19, 2016 until February 18, 2018, with an extension option of one year on the part of Petronas.
In March 2015, Alam Maritim received a letter of award from Petronas for the provision of spot charter marine vessels which allowed the company to provide anchor handling tug / supply vessel, straight supply vessel, fast crew boat, workboat, work barge, general purpose/utility vessel, and platform supply vessel.
