A Norwegian-Dutch offshore service provider, Oceanteam, has announced that CEO Haico Halbesma has taken over CFO duties until further notice.
Oceanteam said on Thursday that the current CFO, Torbjorn Skulstad has relinquished his tasks due to illness.
Halbesma, who has held the position of CFO of the company prior to him becoming Oceanteam’s CEO, said: “We had already arranged the financial tasks differently back in late May, but now that Torbjorn is likely to be absent for longer than expected, I will assume his tasks with support from an interim group controller. We believe it is important to provide clarity on the matter for both our internal and external stakeholders.”
Oceanteam consists of two integral parts, Oceanteam Shipping and Oceanteam Solutions. Oceanteam Shipping owns, charters and manages deep-water offshore support vessels and fast support vessels while Oceanteam Solutions focus is to provide its clients with complete offshore solutions.
