OceanWorks International, a Houston-based subsea solution engineering company, has appointed Glen Viau to the position of President, effective immediately.
OceanWorks said on Thursday that Viau would be based out of the company’s Vancouver office.
Viau’s responsibilities include adding to OceanWorks capabilities in Submarine Rescue Systems, Seafloor Observatory Systems, and Subsea Systems for the oil & gas market.
The newly appointed president is returning to OceanWorks after his hiatus of 4 years in the oil and gas industry in Houston.
The company added that Viau has accumulated over 24 years of experience in the subsea technology industry with experience in management, design, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning of subsea equipment in more than a dozen countries.
