Crane and lifting specialist IKM Kran & Løfteteknikk has acquired Norwegian engineering company Tech Team Solutions.
IKM Kran & Løfteteknikk, an IKM Group subsidiary, said on Thursday that it recently acquired 100 percent of the shares in Tech Team Solutions.
Tech Team Solutions is a company which specializes in structural analysis with expertise within crane-related engineering.
Erik Johannessen , CEO of IKM Kran & Løfteteknikk, said: “Through this acquisition, we will be able to offer additional expertise and capacity as well as a broader range of services to the companies’ common customers in the oil and gas industry. This acquisition will further strengthen our strategic position in the market.”
The company added that it would take over the employees, contracts, and obligations as well as 15 engineers from Tech Team.
According to IKM Kran & Løfteteknikk, Tech Team has completed for more than 25 crane shifts on the Norwegian shelf.
