According to the department, the works to construct a new jetty at Mersey Point are expected to be completed by 30 January 2018.

“ The works will take place Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with provision to carry out works on Saturdays as required. The works area will extend approximately 60 meters into the water and will be delineated by lit yellow buoys, approx one meter in height, and equipped with flashing yellow lights.

The barge and associated equipment will remain inside the works area outside of operating hours.
