Menter Môn is looking to appoint consultants to drive forward the development of the Morlais tidal energy demonstration zone off the coast of Anglesey in Wales.
Menter Môn, the manager of the Morlais tidal energy project, is seeking to hire a consultant to provide grid and permitting support and other services related to the advancement of tidal demonstration zone.
The engagement will include providing advice and deliverables related to grid design, connections, and construction, as well as conducting financial analyses in support of the business plan.
Also, Menter Môn is seeking a consultant for consent and offshore support, who will also be tasked with technical matters relating to turbine technology, rollout and connectivity.
The deadline to apply for either of the tenders is set for October 31, 2017.
To remind, Morlais Demonstration Zone was recently given a funding boost from the EU and Welsh government in the amount of £4.5 million.
