Solstad Farstad (SOFF) has informed that Sverre Andreas Farstad has resigned from the board of directors.
The resignation from the board has an immediate effect, the company informed.
“ The nomination committee in SOFF will before the next ordinary general meeting consider whether a new board member shall be proposed as replacement for Sverre A. Farstad, ” the company said.
Sverre A. Farstad has been a board member in Farstad Shipping since 1988.
He has also held various board and other positions in banking, insurance and the Norwegian Shipowners Association.
Sverre has a Business Degree from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.
