The international Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has appointed Stephen Sheppard to its board.
Sheppard is a diving manager at Helix Well Ops (UK) Ltd, which has been a strong supporter of IMCA.
He has industry experience in diving operations and is known as an industry expert in diving health and medical issues, IMCA said.
He is an honours graduate from Aberdeen University with a degree in Physiology.

Steve knows IMCA extremely well and is the current chairman of our Operations Committee and Diving Division Management Committee, as well as the industry’s representative on the Diving Medical Advisory Committee. I am sure he will serve our board and our members’ interests very well.”
