Petróleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) has appointed Ivan de Souza Monteiro, current interim CEO, as the full-time CEO of the company.
He will join the company’s board of directors, Petrobras informed.
Previously Monteiro held the chief financial and investor relations officer position at Petrobras and a vice president Finance, Capital Markets and Investor Relations at Banco do Estado do Piauí SA.
He holds undergraduate degree from the Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações, a graduate degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from Ibmec Rio De Janeiro.
