Marine seismic firm Polarcus has said it has received an award for a 3D marine seismic acquisition project in South East Asia.
According to Polarcus, the project duration is approximately 4 months and is scheduled to start in Q4, 2018.
“Following this award, the Polarcus fleet is 100% booked for Q4 2018,” Polarcus said.
The company did not reveal the name of the client nor the value of the contract.
Polarcus has recently reported its fleet utilization numbers for the third quarter of the year. The fleet utilization was 86% for the quarter, down from 3Q 2017, when the utilization was 92%
