Babcock Australasia’s Offshore Aviation division has been awarded a five-year contract with Santos in Australia.
Babcock provides offshore energy transportation helicopter services for oil and gas companies, to support their production, drilling and exploration campaigns across the UK, Spain, Italy, and Australia.
Babcock said on Thursday that, under the contract with Santos, it would be operating from Karratha, Western Australia. The contract is set to start on July 1, 2019,
The contract facilitates the provision of two dedicated Leonardo AW139 aircraft to provide crew change, emergency support, 24/7 medevac services with associated personnel and hangar facilities in Karratha.
