Sustainable Marine Energy (SME), a turnkey supplier of integrated tidal energy generation systems, is searching for a lead technologist in Canada.
The lead technologist will report directly to the VP of Project Delivery & Commercial, coordinating with the UK based engineering team and various suppliers and subcontractors on site.
The lead technologist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including operation and maintenance of all project equipment, electrical and mechanical diagnostics and primary technical interface with UK Engineering team.
Furthermore, the person will be responsible of ensuring reliable operations of tidal energy platform(s) and arrays and several other tasks.
The job requires Diploma in Oceans Technology or similar and Small Vessel Operators Proficiency (SVOP) or higher.
