Norway-based subsea and marine services provider DOF Subsea has secured a six-month extension to a contract in Africa.
During the extension period, the company will continue to use Skandi Seven to deliver integrated field support vessel (FSV) services.
The scope of work also includes project management, engineering, procurement and logistical services within deep-water construction and maintenance of existing subsea infrastructure.
DOF Subsea recently won a subsea decommissioning contract in a joint venture with Aker Solutions, KDS JV AS, for DNO at the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The company will deploy Skandi Acergy from its fleet and Aker Solutions will use its disposal site at Stord for recycling.
