UK-based engineering consultancy Ryder, part of Tekmar Group, has secured a three-year framework agreement with France’s cable systems designer and manufacturer Nexans to provide subsea engineering support for the company’s cable projects worldwide.

According to Ryder, the company will deliver cable burial risk assessments, installation analyses, and specialist subsea engineering consultancy under the agreement.

The company is expected to support Nexans in ensuring smooth project execution across its operations.

“We are delighted to have been awarded this exciting opportunity by Nexans. This opportunity reflects the confidence Nexans has in Ryder’s expertise and our ability to deliver high-quality engineering support,” said Fraser Gibson , Managing Director of Ryder.

“Our skilled team is committed to providing innovative, high-quality solutions that support the success of Nexans’ projects. We look forward to delivering value under this framework over the next three years.”

In August 2024, Ryder completed a geotechnical site investigation for an offshore floating tidal turbine project located at the Fall of Warness European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) test site in Orkney.
