Aker Solutions Appoints New UK Country Manager

Aker Solutions has appointed Sian Lloyd Rees as UK country manager, based in Aberdeen.

Lloyd Rees takes over country management responsibility from David Clark who will now focus on his role as executive vice president for Aker Solutions’ global services organization.

Her career started in the oil and gas industry working at Stena Offshore before progressing across multiple lines of business in the Halliburton Corporation. She also spent time working in the IT industry with Petrocosm and Oracle Corporation.

Lloyd Rees joined Aker Solutions in 2014 and has held leadership roles in several functions, including strategy and marketing, services development and global alliances. As well as her role as country manager for the UK, she will lead the customer management function for Aker Solutions across Europe and Africa.
