Australia’s Woodside names new finance chief

Australian energy company and LNG player Woodside said it had appointed Sherry Duhe as its chief financial officer.

Duhe is joining Woodside from LNG giant Shell, where she had held a number of senior positions, most recently as vice president of finance for unconventionals based in Houston.

She has completed assignments across manufacturing, lubricants, integrated gas and corporate strategy with Shell in the USA, UK, Netherlands and Qatar.

Duhe is set to begin in the role in December, subject to finalising her visa, Woodside said.

To remind, former Woodside finance chief Lawrie Tremaine joined Origin Energy in June.
