Boskalis said on Thursday that Carlo van Noort was nominated to be the next CFO of the company and that he would be appointed to the role at the annual general meeting (AGM) of shareholders in May 2019.

According to Boskalis, the term of the current CFO, Hans Kamps, expires on the date of the AGM.

Van Noort has held various finance positions within the three divisions of the Boskalis group over the last twelve years and is currently financial director of Boskalis Nederland.

Following his accounting and auditing degree from Nyenrode Business University, Van Noort worked as an auditor with Ernst & Young followed by finance positions at among others ING Real Estate and DHL Express.

Peter Berdowski, CEO of Boskalis, said: “We are pleased that with Carlo van Noort we are nominating a strong internal candidate with an excellent track record within Boskalis. With his broad background and in-depth knowledge of the organization and the business he is well-equipped to fulfill the role of CFO at our company.”

Boskalis also made an addition to its board of management earlier this year. Namely, the company appointed Bart Heijermans to the board of management with ultimate responsibility for the offshore energy division. He joined the company on September 1, 2018.

In other company news, Boskalis was awarded the “Tyra Redevelopment Subsea Installation Phase II” contract by Total E&P Denmark last week.
