Chief financial and strategy officer set to leave Saipem

Chief financial and strategy officer of Italian oilfield services contractor Saipem has decided to leave the company.

Saipem said on Thursday that Giulio Bozzini, the company’s chief financial and strategy officer, decided to pursue other professional experiences and would leave the company effective from October 15, 2018.

According to the company, the name of his successor will be announced on completion of the selection process which is already underway in order to ensure a fluid transition and adequate transfer of responsibilities.

Giulio Bozzini has served as the chief financial and strategy officer at Saipem since June 7, 2016.

He was the chief financial officer, financial reporting officer, and head of company affairs of Saipem until May 31, 2012.

Previously, he was appointed as the financial reporting officer of the company on July 29, 2008. He was also a member of the sustainability committee of the company.
