Cobalt hires Air Energi for support services in Malaysia

Air Energi Group, the global workforce solutions provider for the oil and gas industry, has been awarded a contract to provide global exploration company, Cobalt International Energy, with regional support services in Malaysia.

The nine month agreement – with an 18 month extension option – will see Air Energi deliver regional support services to the project management team of a major front end engineering design (FEED) project in Kuala Lumpur. The scope of work covers in-country support for Cobalt International Energy’s expatriate personnel in Kuala Lumpur throughout the duration of the project.

This award comes as Air Energi appoints Brian Kleb to mark the launch of its Global Mobility Services division as a standalone business stream. Located in Houston, Kleb brings with him a wealth of experience in global mobility and relocation services, and will be responsible for establishing and growing Air Energi’s new offering internationally. Kleb joined Air Energi as Business Development Manager – Global Mobility Services from March 2014.

Air Energi’s Global Mobility Service addresses the oil and gas industry’s requirement to assign a multinational workforce to some of the world’s most challenging destinations. Provided either on a standalone basis or as part of a bundled offering, Air Energi can provide a range of people-related services from visa acquisition and permits, pay rolling and tax payments, through to destination services such as ‘meet and greet’ and relocation assistance.
