COOEC names HYSY289 vessel

China Offshore Oil Engineering Co. Ltd. (COOEC), an offshore engineering construction company, has held a vessel naming ceremony for multipurpose subsea construction vessel HAI YANG SHI YOU 289 (HYSY289) in Shenzhen China.

The vessel is of STX OSCV 11L design and classed by DNV&CCS, which is equipped with 250Te AHC crane and two 150HP/3000M ROVs.

The vessel is designed for subsea operation duties such as construction and installation work, inspection and maintenance. The vessel is of clean design, has particularly good seakeeping abilities, station keeping performance and is able to keep a high transit speed. It is environmental friendly with focus on low fuel consumption through its diesel electric machinery.  

The vessel will be operated by COOEC SUBSEA, a professional subsea company of COOEC. COOEC SUBSEA will use this vessel not only to for domestic project but also to chase international markets.
