Coretrax Welcomes New Manager (UK)

Aberdeen-based oilfield services firm Coretrax Technology Limited has appointed Scott Laing as Business Development Manager.

Mr Laing joins Coretrax from MI Swaco Wellbore Productivity where he was based in Egypt since 2007. He brings over 20 years of experience within the global oil industry with specific expertise in wellbore clean-up projects and technologies.

Coretrax specialises in innovative oilfield services to the completion, cementing, abandonment and wellbore clean up sectors both in the North Sea and globally.

Mr Laing said: “I’m delighted to join an innovative and fast growing firm where I can really utilise my experience and knowledge within the downhole tool sector. With new contracts won this year in the North Sea and globally the whole team is looking forward to the next stage of the company’s growth.”

Coretrax was formed in 2008 and employs 12 people with plans to recruit a further 6 staff in 2012.
