Dayang clinches Petronas contract offshore Malaysia

Malaysian Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd  has been awarded a contract by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd to provide Facilities Improvement Project (FIP).

The award is related to the Petronas’ facilities at Sarawak Operations (SKO) Offshore and Sabah Operations (SBO) Offshore.

Dayang says that the contract will be performed on a call-out basis and it will include any or all other work and services which is related to modification or upgrading including working under SIMOPS, hook-up and commissioning and major construction work.

According to Dayang, the deal is valued at approximately RM 250 million ($67.5 million). The duration of the contract is for a primary period of two years effective June 8, 2015, expiring on June 7, 2017.
